1. What iEvents is

iEvents is a platform for discovering events in Qatar and booking tickets for them. Events are run by independent organizers. The organizer — not iEvents — is responsible for the event itself: its content, venue, timing, safety and whether it goes ahead. We sell tickets on the organizer’s behalf and provide the booking, payment and check-in tools.

2. Your account

• You must be 18 or older, or have a parent or guardian’s permission, to create an account.
• Give accurate details, keep your password and login codes private, and tell us straight away if you think someone else has accessed your account.
• You are responsible for bookings and other activity made through your account.

3. Booking tickets

• A booking is confirmed only once payment succeeds and we send you a confirmation with your QR ticket.
• Seats or tickets you select are held for a limited time (normally 15 minutes) while you pay. If payment isn’t completed in that time, they are released and may be sold to someone else.
• Check your booking details — event, date, time, seats and contact email — before paying. Tickets are sent to the email address you enter at checkout.
• Event details shown on iEvents, including age limits and the organizer’s own terms, form part of your booking. Entry may be refused if you don’t meet them.

4. Prices, fees and payment

• Prices are shown in Qatari Riyals (QAR). The total at checkout includes the ticket price, a convenience fee, and any applicable tax on that fee.
• Payments are processed by our payment provider, SkipCash. Your use of its payment page is also subject to its terms.
• Promo codes are subject to their own conditions (such as validity dates, minimum spend and usage limits), can’t be exchanged for cash, and may be withdrawn at any time.

5. Cancellations and refunds

• Each event has a cancellation policy set by its organizer, shown on the event page and at checkout. The policy in force when you booked is the one that applies to your booking.
• Where the policy allows it, you can cancel from your booking page before the stated deadline and receive the stated share of the ticket price. The convenience fee and the tax on it are not refundable.
• Refunds are sent to your original payment method and usually arrive within 5–10 working days.
• If an organizer cancels an event, you will be refunded the ticket price. If an event is rescheduled or changed, we will pass on the organizer’s instructions.
• Outside of the organizer’s policy and the cases above, tickets cannot be cancelled, refunded or exchanged.

6. Tickets and entry

• Your QR ticket is your proof of purchase. Show it at the door; it can be scanned for entry once. Keep it private — we are not responsible if a copied ticket is used before yours.
• Tickets may not be resold for profit or used for commercial promotions without the organizer’s written permission.
• The organizer and venue may refuse entry or remove anyone who breaks venue rules, behaves unsafely, or doesn’t meet an age or ID requirement, without a refund.

7. Reviews

If you attended an event you can rate and review it. Reviews must be honest, based on your own experience, and free of abusive, unlawful or promotional content. We may hide or remove reviews that break these rules. By posting a review you allow us to display it on iEvents.

8. Event crew jobs

Organizers can post paid crew roles on iEvents, and you can apply for them. Any work arrangement is between you and the organizer: iEvents is not the employer, does not guarantee that you will be hired or paid, and is not a party to that arrangement. Give truthful information in your application, and make sure you are legally allowed to work in Qatar.

9. Acceptable use

When using iEvents you agree not to:

• use bots or automated tools to buy tickets or hold seats, or try to get around purchase limits;
• interfere with the service, attempt to access other people’s accounts or data, or probe our systems without permission;
• use the service for anything unlawful, fraudulent or harmful.

10. Our content

The iEvents name, logo, website and app belong to us or our licensors. Event descriptions and images belong to their organizers. You may use the service for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

11. Our responsibility to you

We work hard to keep iEvents accurate and available, but the service is provided “as is”, and we can’t promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law allows, iEvents is not liable for the acts or omissions of organizers or venues, for anything that happens at an event, or for indirect or consequential losses; and our total liability for any booking is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under law that can’t be excluded.

12. Suspending or closing accounts

You can stop using iEvents at any time and delete your account from your account settings. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or is used fraudulently. Bookings already confirmed remain subject to these terms.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when they were last changed. The terms in force when you made a booking apply to that booking.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar, and the courts of Qatar have jurisdiction over any dispute.
